Hey There!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year…and I hope everyone got the cards I sent out!  It’s snowing like crazy here in Seattle so I’m glad I’m working from home right now…my back yard looks like I’m in Montana.  I wanted to give you guys a quick update on how everything’s coming along.  I’m still writing lyric sheets and think I will cross the 100th sheet mark tonight!!

It’s a full time job we’ve created for me here and I’m very grateful to all of you for helping me make it happen.  So excited for you guys to see the layout design and hear these new songs!!  A very large shipment of CDs and Vinyl is on its way to my house as we speak so I can get started on signing them all for you…that is if my hand still works after writing out all these lyrics!:-)  Attached a photo below so you can see how they’re coming out.  I’m also just about to get started on 23 exclusive home recordings… Wish me luck!

We will be announcing the OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE for the album very soon, as well as the fist set of U.S. TOUR DATES, so keep an eye out for that.  I’ll keep you guys posted on how all of this is going and thanks again for all of your support!!!!

712 backers raising over $38,000.  So incredible!  I cannot thank you enough for the outpouring of support.

Right now we’re putting the final touches on the album’s release.  We’ll be in touch early next year about sending you your copy along with the other rewards you signed up for.  The estimated delivery date is March 2012.

Just went over 600 backers! Only 50 hours left to go!!   This thing has been so much fun I’ll be sad to see it end – but it’s gone so well that we’ having a party!

Hey Everyone,

WE DID IT!!!! At 10:35am this morning with 300 backers we passed the goal of $20,000 and still counting!!  Thx so much for helping me to make this happen!!!!!

Not only does this mean I’ll have the funding to make another record – but the super cool part is that now everyone gets their rewards!!  All the more reason to keep pledging right:)  Every dollar and then some pledged will be going into this record and the more we make the more I can raise my budget for promoting it!!

I’ll be posting a video soon to celebrate reaching our goal so keep an eye out for it… Still 24 days left to go for getting these (now guaranteed) exclusive and limited rewards.  Please keep spreading the word and let’s see how far we can take this thing!!!

Almost $17,000 in 3 days!!!  I’m still in shock over how fast we are heading towards the goal!

I just want to say THANKS AGAIN for your incredible generosity -  it’s really hard to keep my hand off the refresh button watching the numbers go up:)  Before we started this thing I was super nervous how it would go so thanks for making this one of the coolest experiences I’ve had since I started making music!

Hello Everyone!

Over 100 backers and $5,000 in the first 24 hours!!  You guys are amazing!!!!  This is seriously incredible and I can’t even explain in words how moved I am by all your support and amazing comments!!  I knew I had so many wonderful friends and family members out there but I’m seriously shocked and amazed at how fast we are heading towards the goal!!!

Trying not to sound too freaked out in this Post but I kind of am and can’t help it.  You guys rule and thank you just isn’t enough to express how I’m feeling right now but it’s the best I can do so THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

After working with record labels on every album I’ve released up to now I’m really excited to finally be taking the plunge into Self-Releasing this new one!!  I know it will connect me more directly to the people who care most about what I’m doing, and I’m really looking forward to that.  I’m also really proud of all the songs that I’ve written for this record and can’t wait for everyone to hear the finished product.

Every dollar you give and then some will go into this album: Recording costs, Musicians, Mastering expenses, Artwork/Layout design costs, Manufacturing the CDs and Vinyl LPs (LP records aint cheap yo!), and finally promoting the record when it’s all ready to go.

I can’t tell you guys how lucky I feel to have been playing music for a living as long as I have already, and I really really appreciate you guys being a part of this project to keep me going.  I know I couldn’t be doing this without you and am humbled by how many of you have bought CDs, come to shows, sent me amazing messages, or even just listened to some of my songs.  I can’t thank you enough for all of your support.
